Ceramic washbasins: A proven classic
Ceramic is a traditional bathroom material – and for good reason. Ceramic washbasins are hard, durable and very easy to maintain. The smooth glazed surface is easy to clean, resists common cleaning agents and retains its appearance over time. They are an ideal choice for bathrooms where practicality and long service life are key.
Ceramic is very strong, but also brittle – a strong impact can cause it to crack or chip. It also feels cooler to the touch, and the production process partly limits the possibility of perfectly flat surfaces and very fine details.

Cast marble washbasins: Modern design and comfort
Cast marble is a modern material made from a mixture of finely ground dolomite and other limestones combined with polyester resin. The surface of cast marble products is sealed with a white, glossy, flexible protective layer known as gelcoat, which ensures durability, easy cleaning and a pleasantly smooth feel.
The result is a compact, non-porous surface with a very precise appearance and a comfortable touch. Cast marble washbasins feel warmer than ceramic, better absorb the sound of falling water and allow for perfectly flat surfaces.
Thanks to casting technology, cast marble makes it possible to create a wide range of shapes and designs that would not be achievable with other materials. The surface is smooth and hygienic, reduces the buildup of dirt and bacteria, and with proper care maintains its appearance for many years. Another advantage is that small scratches can be repaired by gentle sanding.
