Using the bathtub polystyrene supports is an option that people in many countries still tend to overlook.

Mostly it is the more industrialized countries that appreciate the quick installation, the ease and high quality of posterior tiling, and the thermal and acoustic isolation. In Germany, for example, more than 50% of all bathtubs are installed in polystyrene supports.

High quality one-component polyurethane suppport, invented especially for perfect and effective installation of bathtubs, shower trays etc. This installation foam is suited for highly economical filling of all hollows, gaps and transmissions with low expansion and high speed of foam setting. The foam comes with special applicator. After application, the foam does not expand any more, thus avoiding unwanted deformative effects. Ist unique compound enables the foam to be used in all positions. It sets quickly, already 30 minutes after using, it can be trimmed. Due to precise dosage, it´s effective spreading rate is 75% higher than common polyurethane foams have.

There are three types of polystyrene bathtub supports available today. They differ not only in the way of their installation and in universality of usage, but also in price - which is a significant factor too.

MODUL
schéma 		THE MODUL SYSTEM

This is a universal, building-block system suitable for the CAMPANULA, SONATA, FRESIA and VANDA bathtubs.
It includes long blocks (L) and short blocks (S) that are intended for combining as needed. The long blocks (L) are available in one universal length and they are not adjusted until the bathtub is to be installed. Adding or removing some of the extension blocks makes the adjustments. The short blocks (S) come in 700, 750, and 800 mm length. The bathtub must always be installed with the appropriate metal supports (the supportive „legs“).

schéma THE KOMPLET SYSTEM

The KOMPLET system is the only way for flawlessly and quickly tiling a design fashioned bathtub. This system, intended for the ROSA and ARNICA bathtubs, is delivered already in the assembled state. If you install your bathtub into this system, there is no need to use any other supportive feature because the bathtub is installed straight into the inside of the polystyrene support.
